Taking photos when on an African Safari holiday

Although holidays are off the agenda at the moment we are all hoping it wont be long before we can start to book again.

A safari holiday is a fantastic get away that you may have saved up for over several years. It is often not a cheap experience but is definitely one worth doing. It is important to think carefully about what you need to pack for a safari trip as the clothing you need may be quite different to what you normally pack for a holiday.

Taking photos is a great way to capture the memories to look back on year later or to share with loved ones when you get back home. You may want to just use your phone or you may decide to invest in a good quality camera.

Make sure that when on a safari, you always check with the guide before taking photos. Sometimes you will have to be really quiet and taking pictures might startle the animals, this is especially true if you are going to be using a flash.

There are some amazing sights on a safari but make sure you don’t spend all your time looking through a lens as you will miss the experience that you have waited that long to have.
