Does tourism affect wildlife in Africa

There is no doubt that tourism does have an effect on the African wildlife scene but this can be minimised by booking an African safari with a reputable company. These companies are working together with the African conservation parks to ensure that they try to cause as little disruption to the wildlife there as possible. Do not be tempted to go on a Safari without researching who you are going with and what their policies are in advance as there are some rouge companies out there that you need to be aware of. If you do go on a Safari be respectful to your surroundings and do exactly what the tour guide tells you to. The idea of travelling on a safari holiday rather than going to a zoo is to see animals in their natural environment behaving they way they do in the wild. So we have a duty to keep it that way.
