For some people planning to visit South Africa the idea of a safari holiday is not on their to do list. There visitors can explore the limestone cave systems where prehistoric fossils have been found.

South African wines are extremely popular and so a stay on one of the extensive wineries with the opportunity to sample a selection of wines is another idea for a different type of holiday in fact many travellers embark on a wine tour so that they get to visit up to ten different wineries during their stay in South Africa.
