Planning a trip to see endangered species

Unfortunately the population of many species in the wild is declining and more and more animals are being added to the endangered species list. Many people think that we have an obligation to try and reduce this and see wildlife flourish and not just in Zoos and safari parks, but in their natural habitat.
You may want to go on a safari type holiday and get to see many of these beautiful animals with your own eyes before there are none left to see, but often our conscious question as to whether this is the right thing to do.
The good news is that by going on a safari holiday you can actually help to look after many endangered species and know that the money you are paying is being put to good use. This is why it is vital to do your research and book with a company that has wildlife conservation at its heart. A good safari company will be open and upfront about their efforts in conservation and how much of the money they make is put back in to looking after the wildlife. They will often use this as one of their selling points to show that without any sort of tourism, they simply would not be able to carry on with the conservation projects they are currently running.
