When people go a safari in africa, what usually attracts them are the African “Big Five”, namely; Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, and Rhinoceros. But there’s a lot more for you to see in the african wildlife. We’ve all got something which draws us to the awe-inspiring, and the fear-inspiring, but there are a large number of animals in Africa which are deserving of some awe, like the termite colonies, and the meerkat mobs. There are also great predators which go unviewed and manage to avoid attention, such as the wild dog and Caracal. All of these present a great opportunity for you to see an environment you wouldn’t see on a typical safari. So much more happens with the smaller wildlife, but it can be far harder to find than when looking for big game and their predators.
